I'm Giuseppe — a software engineer and team lead. I write the code, review the code, and occasionally have to explain to a stakeholder why "just add a button" takes three sprints.

Ten-plus years across backend, frontend, and the infrastructure holding it together. I care about shipping things that work over things that look good in a slide deck.

Between deploys, I help run my family's olive oil business from Sicily (real olives, zero unit tests), and I'm always mid-experiment on a new pizza dough ratio.

aqno.dev (2026)

Personal site & blog.

My personal website, built with Astro and TailwindCSS. Because the world definitely needed another developer homepage. Still a work in progress, but hey, at least it's not built with WordPress.

WebsiteSourceSource is private for now — I might open it up down the line.

Olio Aquino (2023)

Family olive oil from Sicily.

A family side project with zero unit tests and a very real olive press: handpicked Biancolilla olives from Sicily, cold-pressed on harvest day, sold across Switzerland. Proof that not every side project needs a Git repo.

Larry the Bot (2026)

Clash of Clans recruiting bot.

A production Discord bot for Clash of Clans communities: link your village, publish formatted clan and player recruiting posts with cooldowns, schedule recurring posts, and run the whole thing from a web admin panel. What started as a small clan helper quietly grew into a proper product.

Gitty (2025)

AI-powered commit messages

One of my first AI projects — a TypeScript CLI that turns diffs into clean commit messages. A relic from the early days of generative AI, back when writing commit messages wasn't yet part of the AI workflow. These days that's table stakes, so Gitty mostly sits there waiting for its final tag. Still, it was a genuinely cool thing to build. 🤖
